His experience includes Conventional, FHA, VA, and first-time homebuyer loan programs. Chip is particularly well versed in VA financing and enjoys helping first-time homebuyers understand the mortgage process and explore the options available to them.

He also has extensive knowledge of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac underwriting guidelines. That understanding gives Chip valuable insight into the requirements behind the mortgage process and helps him guide borrowers through the details that can sometimes feel overwhelming.

Education and Professional Background

Chip earned his B.A. in Economics from Ripon College in Ripon, Wisconsin. His background in economics, combined with more than three decades of hands-on mortgage experience, gives him a strong foundation for helping borrowers understand the financial considerations involved in purchasing a home.

Mortgage lending has changed considerably since Chip entered the industry in 1993, but his approach has remained consistent: put the customer first, provide knowledgeable guidance and build relationships that stand the test of time.

Life Outside of Mortgage Lending

Outside of work, Chip enjoys staying active and spending time with his family. He regularly plays pickleball and enjoys coaching tennis, combining his love of sports with an opportunity to stay involved in the community.

Chip is also a passionate Wisconsin sports fan. He holds season tickets for Marquette men's basketball, follows Milwaukee Brewers baseball and considers himself a dedicated Green Bay Packers fan.

Family time is especially important to Chip. He and his wife, Mary, have two sons, Jacob and Andrew, and the family enjoys spending time together at Blue Spring Lake. Whether they are boating, swimming or tubing, Chip appreciates the opportunity to slow down and enjoy time with the people closest to him.
